I’ve never been in this place before so I can’t begin to tell you what it looks like

Only that it feels like water when the ocean waves crest together to create something beautiful.

It causes a stir. It’s violent yet graceful. It can’t be man-made or it could be controlled.

The place feels like familiar with a hint of something different. Something stronger than can be identified without a deeper sense.

I’m compelled to take a closer look. To adventure into the unknown. Unsure of what I’ll find but thinking I’m on the discovery of a lifetime.

It wraps around my mind. It tickles me and dances with me at midnight. It makes me wonder what great stories are made of.

For once I stop to think am I the hero or the villain? And either way, I’ll come out different.

With a story to tell with a face to show. Or maybe more of a movement.

I’ll cascade the core of the caves by the light of a torch and walk the rope of a failing bridge to reach the object of my obsession.

I’ll wrangle its power and find that it’s truly a jewel that was stolen and then hidden.

I’ll return to its previous state better than before and crowds will shout for victory at the journey I’ve had to endure.

They’ll see the marks of an adventurer tattered all over my skin. The sweat of my brow no longer a chore for the work has been logged in.

And from one step to another, I’ll let Hope take on me again.

From

adventure to adventure,

from sea to shore,

from the hill,

to the valley,

to the big win.
